We are all building God's Kingdom

We are all building God's Kingdom

Nobody likes such people, who always and everywhere think only about themselves. They want, that only they would be well. At school, on the pitch or in the team, they put themselves first. You can't work with them, because they are selfish.
There, who have been baptized, they belong to the Church. Is Christ creating his people for this?, that everyone should try to save only himself ? Do you belong to the Church only for yourself ?

The beginning of the Gospel

Christ has called all people to the Kingdom of God. In his person, God's Kingdom has already begun on earth. Through his death and resurrection, Christ reconciled people with God. Through his baptism, he made us part of his People, who became the beginning of God's kingdom on earth. The kingdom of God grows in the hearts of the People of God (by. Luke 17, 21). By molding oneself according to the principles of the Gospel, we are building the kingdom of God within ourselves. We cooperate with God, because we create good, and we counteract evil. There is a lot of injustice in the world, harm and selfishness. Christ instructed us, how are we to counteract it. As we build God's kingdom within ourselves, we contribute to the growth of God's kingdom in the world. This is how St.. Matthew :
“The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and put it in three measures of flour, until everything leavened " (Mt 13, 33).
God's Kingdom has the power to transform all people, how leaven transforms the dough. Church, who is the beginning of God's kingdom on earth, is to "acidify" everything, that is, to unite all people in God, that they may build God's kingdom together on earth.

I am the leaven of the Gospel in the world

God invited us to build the Kingdom of God by calling to faith and by the grace of baptism. He rescued us from the power of evil and gave us over to good. He has given us power, that we may resist evil, and do good. He gave us the right to draw God's power in all the sacraments of St.. We give a conscious response to this call of Christ to build the Kingdom of God, when we carefully receive the sacrament of Confirmation. We also repeat it, when we receive other sacraments : marriage, Anointing of the Sick, especially the sacrament of priesthood. We also renew our answer constantly in the sacrament of penance.

We build the kingdom of God in us and in our neighbors especially through our joint participation in each Eucharistic Assembly, that is, in the Mass. Then we all pray for everyone, we create one visible community. We learn to think not only about ourselves, but we want to extend our prayer to all people who are called to the Kingdom of God. - We listen to the word of God, through which the kingdom of God grows, because we learn about the things of the kingdom of God, which Christ announced.

Thanks to that power, which Christ gives us, our work is not only of value to life on earth, but also for eternity. By resisting evil and by doing good, we transform earthly reality with Christ. We are building God's Kingdom not only for ourselves, but also for all people.

How will I answer God ?

Christ also called me to build the Kingdom of God. \ I am to be the leaven, through which the kingdom of God is to grow. Do I remember that, that it is not enough to be concerned only with your own salvation ? What am I doing, that my work and conduct may bring God's Kingdom to others ? How I help Christ change the world, that there will be less anger, quarrel, hatred and selfishness ?

You can express your memory of Christ's call to build God's Kingdom in the words of a religious song :

“In the midst of all life's worries and troubles, You have to go upwind every day, One truth always shines like a star, That a Christian, that's me.
So let's live as beautifully as possible,
Is great, are the days gray.
Because life is a treasure in our hands and the world is to be better through us.
Let the great concern for the construction of the Kingdom last forever in each of us,
And through me the Church is also to grow,
Because a Christian, that's me.
So let's live…
Maybe, if I am a good person, Who wants to be better every day,
God will be seen by someone through me,
Because a Christian, that's me.
So let's live…”
(Sl. i banana. : FROM. Clarity).

■ Think :

1. In whose person the Kingdom of God on earth began ?

2. Whom Christ has called to the Kingdom of God ?

3. When we cooperate with Christ to build God's kingdom ?

4. What Christ taught us in the parable of kvass ?

5. What is the role of the Church in building the Kingdom of God on earth? ?

6. Where Christians Find Power to Do Good and Resist Evil ?

7. With whom we are to cooperate in building the Kingdom of God ?

■ Remember:

43. "Strive first for God's Kingdom and His righteousness" (Mt 6, 33).

44. How We Build God's Kingdom ?

We build the kingdom of God by doing good and resisting evil.

■ Task :

1. Write, how the disciple builds God's Kingdom.

2. Read the religious song again and explain the words : "Life is a treasure in our hands and we make the world better".
