Truths and lies

Advertisement, being a guru requires inventing an original story, completely different from reality. Dziennikarz Russel Miller badał życie Rona Hubbarda. W 1993 year, he published the results of his research:

For over thirty years, the Church of Scientology has been trying to promote the image of L.. Ilona Hubbarda, its founder, as a brave explorer and inspired philosopher. In his youth, he was allegedly prepared by Jesus Christ himself for the mission of universal redemption. Hubbard considers himself selected for this mission. Such creation of the figure of the superman and savior of humanity could not be carried out without, complete negation of facts. Hence, every Hubbard biography published by his Church is full of fabrications, fake truths and bizarre ornaments.

We are talking about a prepared history, in which the guru tries to make himself credible and advertise this image appropriately to his disciples. The success of this story depends on it, how much do adepts believe in it, despite the fact that the story often does not stand up to critical scrutiny. Gradually a guru, entangled in a web of lies and forced to confront his students, no longer tries to distinguish it, what's real, from this, what a fake. It blends with the figure, which he made up, slowly falls into indeterminacy and madness, becoming a fictional existence, which he built himself.
