Teaching the guru

If the guru would be content to create his crazy ideas just for himself, he would be simply mentally ill. But to exist as a guru, must win followers, and then increase their number with a brilliant and fascinating discourse. The whole subtlety of his speech is to strike a balance between implausible reasoning – which alternately evokes mad laughter and a sad grimace – and in command, that the theses made cannot be rejected. Such a discourse is based on the construction of paralogical reasoning, which, on the basis of a specific proposal, is gradually expanding, distorts, to finally come to a conclusion so wrong, that it would normally be rejected.

The principle of paralogical distortion is well illustrated by the now classic joke on environmental protection: "Nature is under threat, because trees are dying. You have to save trees. Beavers are cutting trees, to build your lodges. To save nature, so beavers must be killed. Everybody, who love nature, come with me: Zapolujemy na bobry!”. Initial intention is good, its aftermath as well, only the conclusion deviates from the wishes of the people, who would like to maintain a balance in nature. It is the same with the guru's discourse.

Most cult leaders delve into the dialectical meanders, full of megalomania and paranoia. In all cases, the most elementary Manichaeism is at work: on the one hand, the guru and his trustees, mirrors of truth and good; on the other hand, deceitful and evil people. This is the process to rule it out, what else, Outside, which adds an aggressive and pro-Elite dynamism to the sect. The guru's biography really has only one purpose: to glorify oneself as the only righteous one, who fights against evil powers.

A contemporary chiromancer and clairvoyant, Hanussen, mixes together various elements of the occult. He is allegedly the son of an illegitimate astrologer of the same name, famous during the Third Reich. Hanussen derives his paranormal abilities from his own story, which he boasts. This new messiah defies the evil powers of the black Nazi occult. His mission is to save the righteous, who suffer, and warning mankind about mistakes, what he commits. Citing unlawful origin has two meanings: on the one hand, it prevents any serious research into the alleged relationship, on the other hand, it gives him the status of an "extraordinary" person, to whom the said paranormal abilities were occultically transmitted. Because it is enough to make Hitler anathema, to testify to the strongest opposition to Evil, the guru builds up his character, playing on the unanimous revulsion caused by Nazism and the Jewish Holocaust. As a consequence, an attractive dynamic of actions justified by declared persecution is created. Here is the version of events given by his adepts:

Hitler will give birth! in the same year and in the same country as Hermann Steinschneider. The latter was at the peak of his glory, when Hitler reopens! Reichstag. [.“And Ftihrer's entourage looked at it with the evil eye, that the greatest of the prophets of the age attracts! to himself to the audience because of his gift of clairvoyance. He was dangerous to the system. Hanussen was murdered the night of 24 on ‘25 brand 1933 r. […] Dead, but his spirit and memory of him must have endured during the decades in the hearts of his adepts, until his last prophecy comes true: «It will not be thirty years, and the world will hear the new Hanussen, my only heir, my immediate successor. '. The first Hanussen had the courage and strength to hide the fact until his last breath, that he had an illegitimate son. It was the only way to keep the baby safe from danger, which weighed on him because of his Jewish origin. In this way, the offspring's life was saved, but his childhood was very difficult, painful, lonely, often dramatic. It was only on his deathbed that his mother told him about his true origins. The new Hanussen owes all these circumstances, mysterious and logical at the same time, personality development, which is a continuation and development of his father's personality.
