How to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is a prayer that glorifies God's mercy to sinners, his gentle love and understanding for weak people. The content of this prayer was given to St.. Faustina Kowalska in a year 1935 in Vilnius, during the revelation by Jesus himself.
This prayer is very simple. It consists of several prayers, which, when recited in the right order, make up the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
The chaplet is prayed with a rosary.
At the beginning, we pray the Our Father.
Then we say the words of the Hail Mary and I Believe in God.
We say the following prayer once on large rosary beads:
Eternal Father, I offer you Body and Blood, The soul and divinity of your beloved Son, and our Lord Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins and the sins of the whole world.
Then on 10 small beads:
For his painful agony, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
At the end 3 times we utter:
Holy god, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
