Akathist thanksgiving prayer in honor of the Mother of God

Receive, o Powerful, Our Lady and Our Lady,
Mother of God, these hymns of praise,
which we sing to you with gratitude,
we are your unworthy servants.
Chosen from among all ages, above all creatures
heaven and earth you have turned out to be greater.
With you, the Lord of hosts is with us.
Through you we have come to know the Son of God and have become full
with holy body and pure blood.
For this reason you are blessed from generation to generation,
praised by God, greater than the Cherubim
and more venerable than the Seraphim.
At this hour, for the glory of the Most Holy Mother of God,
keep praying for us, unworthy of your servants,
that we may be free from all evil thoughts and all misfortunes
and be saved from all satanic malice.
Until the last moment, interceding for us,
keep us impeccable.
For they are protected by your intercession and by your protection,
One and Triune God, Creator of the universe
we give glory, Hi, tribute and thanksgiving
now and forever and ever and ever.
